Custom client reporting dashboards for agencies, owned by you.
It pulls your clients' ad, analytics, search and AI-search data into one branded report, on its own. No account manager rebuilding it by hand each month. It is for agencies that have outgrown per-client SaaS pricing, need a data source the big tools do not support, or want to own the platform their clients see.

Custom vs. off-the-shelf
Why do agencies choose a custom build over AgencyAnalytics?
Ownership and flat cost. Past about 40 to 50 client accounts a custom dashboard costs less per year, and you own the code and the data pipeline instead of renting a seat. The table is the short version.
| Category | Off-the-shelf tools | Custom-built by TechEmulsion | Edge |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ownership | You rent a vendor's platform. Cancel the plan and the reports go with it. | You own the dashboard, the code, and the data pipeline. | Custom-built |
| Cost as you scale | Price grows with every client you add. The 50th client costs as much as the 1st. | Flat cost once it's built. The 50th client costs no more than the 5th. | Custom-built |
| Customization | Limited to the vendor's templates and settings. | Any metric, layout, or client-specific rule you need. | Custom-built |
| AI-search visibility | A rankings widget. No view of AI Overview, ChatGPT or Perplexity mentions. | AI-search mentions and citations next to rankings, from captures and the tools you already pay for. | Custom-built |
| White-labeling | Your logo on top of someone else's platform. | White-label by default. Your code, on your domain. | Custom-built |
| Data sources | Only what the vendor has built a connector for. | Any source with an API, export, or database. Even tools off-the-shelf platforms skip. | Custom-built |
| Support | A ticket queue with a vendor who does not know your business. | A direct line to the team that built it and knows your setup. | Custom-built |

What changed in 2026
What does a client reporting dashboard show in 2026?
Everything it showed before, plus AI-search visibility. Clients now ask why Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity do not mention them, so a 2026 dashboard shows AI-search mentions and citations next to GA4, ad spend and rankings. SEO retainers now include GEO (generative engine optimization) and AEO (answer engine optimization) work, and the report has to prove that work is moving something. Here is where each number comes from.Want the question “why did our AI Overview visibility drop” answered inside the portal instead of by email? That is the AI chatbot for agency client portals. It reads the same citation log this dashboard holds. The content side, answer-first pages and schema at scale, is covered under programmatic SEO for agencies.
Paid and analytics
Direct platform APIs
Google Ads, GA4, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Microsoft Ads. We connect straight to each platform's API. No manual CSV uploads on report day.
Organic search
Search Console and rank tracking
Google Search Console API for clicks, impressions and positions. Your rank tracker's API or export for the keyword list the client cares about.
AI search (new in 2026)
AI Overview and answer engine citations
For each client we keep a fixed list of tracked queries. On a schedule we capture the Google AI Overview for each one and log which brands and URLs it cites. For ChatGPT and Perplexity we pull from the AI-visibility tools you already pay for, through their API or export. If a source has no API, we say so. We do not invent a feed.
What we build with
Not a no-code wrapper. A real engineering stack.
You should know exactly what you are getting. Here is the real stack, not a vague “proprietary technology” claim. It is the same stack behind our website development and SaaS development work.A note on Looker Studio: many agencies ask because it is where they stitch reports together today. We do not run final client reports through it. A custom build gives you a branded interface that is yours, not a Google dashboard with your logo on it.
Frontend
Next.js
The branded dashboard your clients log into is built in Next.js. It is not a third-party tool with your logo on top.
Backend & data
Supabase
The data pipeline, scheduled reports, and storage run on Supabase. It is the same backend we run our own products on.
Data sources
Direct platform APIs
We connect straight to each platform's API (Google Ads, GA4, Search Console, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, and more as needed). For AI-search visibility we use scheduled AI Overview captures plus exports from the tracking tools you already pay for. No manual CSV uploads.
What is included, and how long does it take?
Most builds ship in 2 to 6 weeks. Week one is data access and a written scope with a fixed price. Then the build, a test run on three real client accounts, and handover. Here is what every build includes.
A branded dashboard on your domain, one login per client
Scheduled data pulls from every connected source, with a failed-pull alert to your team
Monthly PDF or link report generated from the same data, with your commentary block
AI-search visibility panel: tracked queries, citation share, week-over-week change
Client-level rules: custom KPIs, targets, and which metrics each client can see
Handover docs and a staging copy your team can test before launch
Who this is not for
- Agencies under about 40 to 50 client accounts. AgencyAnalytics or Whatagraph is cheaper at that size. The comparison page shows the math.
- Agencies that only need a weekly Looker Studio link. That is a template, not a build.
- Agencies that cannot give us API access to their ad and analytics accounts.

BillboardIQ, a reporting and geo-visualization platform on Supabase and Recharts that cut reporting time 80% for a multi-country out-of-home media operator. And FunnelStudio, a custom funnel builder for a performance marketing agency. Both write-ups show the stack and the numbers.
